On our most recent collaboration, we worked with Manhattan Fish Market and Trans7’s Etalase. As with our last feature, I gave a live review of the restaurant’s most popular dishes at its Grand Indonesia branch. I crave Fish and Chips now and then. And although my usual visit to MFM is purely for their fish and chips, this time around I got to sample other varieties.
What I enjoyed about the MFM experience is the assortment of seafood, sauces, and cooking methods. And the experience goes beyond just fish and chips. And even though I savor this iconic dish for its crispy and light batter on the outside and soft meat on the inside, if you are an avid seafood lover, give their platters–where you get a little bit of everything–a try!
Here’s a peek at what we got to enjoy:
Sunset by the Bay | 39K
Iced Earl Grey Tea with a peachy aroma.
Quad Delight | 69K
Fried country mushrooms, fried calamari, chilled seafood mix, and a cranberry coleslaw.
Grilled Gala Platter | 229K
Grilled fish fillet, tiger prawns, calamari, and garlic herb mussels.
Pepper Mayo Salmon Burger | 79K
Poached salmon fillet topped with a sunny side up and drizzled with a pepper mayo.
Sizzling Pineapple Cake with Vanilla Sauce | 39K
Pineapple cake with a sweet and savory vanilla sauce.
Manhattan Velvet Cake | 29K
Fear not the massive portions (if this is relevant to you)–they are meant to be shared. Thanks Manhattan Fish Market and Trans7 for another productive day of eat-and-greet! The segment is due to air on Trans7 in August 2014, so stay tuned!
