Lazy Sundays are overrated these days. Going-out-and-doing-stuff Sundays are the new lazy Sundays. Sure, the waking up part is never snap, especially if the evening before involved a drink or two. Or three. Or more. But ordering your mind and body to spring out of bed early does pay off. By the end of the night, I felt as if I had lived 1 day longer, had 24 extra hours to spend. You know how we’re always complaining about how we don’t have time to do anything? Or how there should be more hours in a day? Well, go do something about it.
So, I tested out the above theory and it worked. A bunch of classic car enthusiasts got together last Sunday for breakfast at Alam Sutera, BSD. Our ride was the 1955 Cabriolet Chevy Belair in bright yellow (of Hauwke Auto Gallery). The morning drive was quite pleasant–bright and breezy with the morning sun. However, our ride back on the 1957 Cabriolet Chevy Belair resulted in a pool of sweat, baked tanned skin, and afterwards, the much craved pool-dipping.
Through the heat, we pulled through and had an awesome day! And by the end of the night, I had those extra hours I was telling you about. Check out more photos from the rally on our Facebook and Instagram.
