I’m usually simple when it comes to electronic gadgets and accessories. Unlike many people I know, I can live with second or third to the latest electronics and not experience shame, depression, or the like. And I have never, and probably never will or want to participate in what I would consider an act of abhorrence aka queuing up for hours and hours just to be the first to own the newest gizmo (I know many of you would disagree). Standing in line for a buffet? Totally different story. Me? I use my electronics (my brother would say I beat it to death) until they are literally, dead. Only then do I start considering options for a new one. So because the gadgets I own are used for quite a long time, I feel I deserve to dress them up often! If you’re like me or the complete opposite, check out URBANLIFE!
URBANLIFE is a new concept store with a variety of selectively picked products ranging from gadget accessories, power products, travel accessories, entertainment products, to cameras, games/toys, stationery, watches, etc. As given away by their motto, URBANLIFE is focused on bringing together good design with good function. When I visited the Kemang store last weekend, I got to know more about and play around with the varying, nifty products.
As I was looking through their products, I met with Stephanie Suryani, Director of URBANLIFE, a bubbly 25-year old who claims to be a sweet tooth who never ever says no to desserts, ever. Her passion for cool gadgets and fun accessories are apparent in the way she dexterously handles the goods at the store.

A B O U T Stephanie.
Stephanie loves to travel and enjoys good eats. She is a sweet tooth at heart and never ever says no to desserts, ever. Having a passion for cool gadgets and fun accessories, she feels totally at home at URBANLIFE. Her secret collection consists of two of her favorite plush toy characters: Nemo and Totoro.
CL: Why should people come to URBANLIFE?
Finally, the best for last! These three colorful babies are my new muse–I just got the black and white (most left in the photo above) and a slide of 110 pocket film – thank you URBANLIFE. These Fisheye Baby 110 are teeny, so teeny you can fit it in your palm! Stay tuned next for my review of this baby.
Here’s a little taste of URBANLIFE, more to come for sure as I find more excuses to dress up my gadgets (and when I run out of my fisheye camera film). I recommend URBANLIFE for when you want to get something special, out-of-the-ordinary, and of good quality, for yourself or to gift.
P.S. If and when you find yourself at URBANLIFE and run into Stephanie, say Hello–she’s cordial and would be happy to answer questions. Also, don’t forget to mention Chléa Living!
