Taking care of the decor and details part of our wedding was definitely, definitely the most time-consuming part of the entire wedding planning. As our friends and family could attest, both R and I are very much (too much) into detail–the biggest and littlest. For the most part we knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it. And although we spent a good several months going back and forth among a few different color schemes, we finally decided on an all-white wedding! It’s funny that it was only after did I realize I’ve always pictured my dream wedding to be veiled in white and white.
As for our wedding stationery and souvenir, I personally designed it, with some (lots) of good input from R. We didn’t want it to be black and white so we went with a blush and navy tone. And turns out the navy matched our wedding car!
As I said, the course of figuring out the big and small stuff felt endless–corresponding with our vendor, scrolling through images after images on Pinterest, considering what was doable, and more. And the fact that ours was a destination wedding made us all the meticulous and nit-picky. Our vendor was extremely patient with us throughout the whole process, which made it easier for us. They delivered and even went beyond our expectations! The beautiful decor had to be one of our favorite parts of the wedding. It really felt like “us.”
